Kitchen Gardeners International

According to their website
Kitchen Gardeners International (KGI) is a non-profit network whose mission is to celebrate home-grown, home-prepared foods and to promote their role in building a healthier, tastier, more sustainable and secure food system. In doing so, KGI seeks to connect, serve, and expand the global community of people who grow and prepare some of their own food.
Their website is pretty darn impressive with some nice resources. Definitely worth checking out. I only recently signed up for their newsletter so we'll see how that goes. Another thing they are doing is that they have created a group map where individual kitchen gardeners, groups, school gardens, eateries, and community gardens can add themselves to a world map. As someone who has been considering and exploring ways to visualize and analyze the local food system spatially at my university job, I find this very simple method intriguing.
