Know Your Farmer... all around the nation

Apparently others are catching on to my byline....

"Know Your Farmer Know Your Food" is a new USDA initiative to help more Americans understand where their food comes from and how they can support local food economies in their communities.

Of course, details on this initiative (and more importantly to me, its ultimate intent and goals) are a little light. Hopefully the USDA will initiate a little more than a press release and asking folks to comment on their youtube video.
