Winter CSA: Week 4
Some cold temperatures are in the air so we'll be moving toward more tender hoophouse greens in the coming weeks. But first this week:

Collards, Kale, salad mix, arugula

Root medley including old open pollinated carrots, heirloom turnips, black round spanish radish, and watermelon radish. Sweet potatoes and potatoes.

One winter squash for each share. Same varieties from last week plus two crookneck heirloom squash varieties to choose from: if your crookneck squash is a solid color (like a butternut) then it is a Pennsylvania Dutch winter squash; and if your crookneck squash has light speckled stripes on it it is a versatile Italian squash called Zuccheta Tromba D'Albenga.
Happy Thanksgiving!
