Food & Farming Transition: Toward a Post Carbon Food System

This isn't intended to be a marketing post, but based upon a recent conversation with a friend regarding the time horizon upon which many business/political decisions and strategies are often made, I thought I'd take the opportunity to state what you are supporting when you support Brines Farm.

Brines Farm doesn't just plan for the summer growing season. It plans for all seasons. Brines Farm doesn't just plan for this year. It plans for next year. It plans for the next 20 years, the next 40 years, and beyond. Brines Farm is designing, refining, adapting, and employing methods and strategies that will work in a post carbon world. Now how's that for food security? And, fortunately, we are not alone in these efforts (but we still need many, many more farmers, gardeners, eaters on board).
