Winter CSA: Week 4
Hope you had a great long holiday weekend (and added some greens to all those meals!).

Salad Mix

Arugula

Tokyo Bekana. In a lot of ways this open pollinated asian green is like a loose leaf napa cabbage but yet tender and juicy enough to be used raw in a salad mix too.

Mix of Collards and Kale

Mix of (Green Wave) Mustard Greens and (Red Giant) Mustard Greens. If too zesty for you raw try braising or sauted.

Hakurei type Turnips. Have you tried greens and globes diced and mixed in with your scrambled eggs. They also make a complete salad on their own: just cut greens and globes up and mix in a lemon, ginger, or "cole slaw" like dressing.
