Winter CSA: Week 11

Well that was interesting. First we had a wind storm with most certainly 60mph gusts or more because some of our low tunnel coverings blew into shreds. Then it was bitter bitter cold. Looks like we get a couple days reprieve and then bitter cold comes back. This will have some effects on the coming weeks' harvests, just how many weeks depends on what the weather does in the coming weeks. Definitely takes the crops some time to bounce back from such an experience.

Winter salad mix

Baby Swiss chard

Mustard greens

Komatsuna

Hakureis (frost nipped but they cook up nicely and still taste great)

Potatoes

Dried hot peppers

Winter squash
