Winter CSA: Week 8
Blog posts of the full share contents are back after a slight holiday hiatus. As mentioned in the previous post, the weather is looking up, although there will still be weeks lag before growth happens in the hoophouse... So a moderate share week. There are some debut appearances however!

Winter salad mix including mâché, claytonia (most of the sprout looking leaves, heirloom rouge d'hiver lettuce, tango lettuce, baby mizuna, minutina, and a few others.

Baby mustard greens (red giant variety, have a little bit of zest)

Collard greens (champion variety) - stay tuned on the blog for my posting of my favorite collard recipe.

Introducing the sweetest carrots you'll ever taste (Napoli variety)! Don't forget to try and see if you like a few sprigs of the green carrot tops mixed in with your salads. More carrots in coming weeks!

Baby napa cabbages - they never finished growing before winter settled in but they still taste great and can be used in napa recipes or stir fry or soups.
